Marlin Seafood Plumpton - Fresh Gluten-Free Fish & Chips Takeaway in NSW

I am a sensitive celiac and this food was top notch. Fried fish calamari chips and potato scallops. Honestly so light and fresh and seasoned beautifully. The staff were kind friendly and so knowledgeable I will be travelling here for all my fish and chip cravings in future.

Food was absolutely delicious!! I’m a coeliac and on request could do gluten free batter. Highly recommend! Great service, staff absolutely lovely. Was told by staff that pretty much everything could be made gluten free when requested

Marlin Seafood is one of the best in plumpton for fish and chips. Their Battered Fish set is hunger appeasing, and fresh. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Thumbs up and Cheers! Go Marlin, Go Marlin.

We had an early dinner at Marlin Seafood this afternoon, and it was outstanding! The seafood was incredibly fresh, full of rich flavours, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful small family business if you’re in the Plumpton area, though it was well worth the drive from Campbelltown if you don’t mind travelling. Obviously the fish and calamari were perfect but do yourself a favour and try the Mornay Shells—they are absolutely to die for and a must-have on your order! Will definitely be coming back!

I was expecting that they wouldn’t be able to take my order from the catering menu, seeing that I needed it done within 45mins on a busy weekend. I am beyond grateful at how they were able to get my order done as I had left it last minute. Not only was it made in the time frame I needed it but all the salads tasted AMAZING and FRESH. Thank you so much ladies that worked on Saturday morning before Mother’s Day. Appreciate it.

Every time Helen and Sam open a food related business I am there. Travelled all over Sydney for Sam's amazing calamari! And always get a take away seafood salad. The products they use are always top quality and their passion for their customers is flawless. If you are reading this review and something wasn't 100% with your order like some of the negative nancies on google review, approach the owners. Allow them the chance to correct any concerns. No one can be 100% perfect 100% of the time. How many times have you eaten dodgy maccas or kfc and those businesses have 10 x the amount of staff and decades of business models and training yet they still stuff things up constantly yet small business like this people are the most ruthless with. Reviews matter! Think before you blast these amazingly passionate hospitality lovers.

Delicious and fresh…definitely exactly what Plumpton marketplace needed. The calamari was a standout to us it was super soft and melted in our mouth. Chips and fish were crunchy and fresh. Service was quick and very friendly! We will undeniably be back!!!!!

We found this Marlin Seafood through the 'Find me Gluten Free' app. My wife and daughter are both allergic to Gluten, finding nice gluten-free takeaway is difficult, hence the FmGF app. My wife had a huge smile on her face after tasting her first Battered Sav (GF) in more than 10 years. The owner said that anything with batter, they can make it as gluten-free. We had: Battered Sav, Calamari rings, potato scallops, pineapple fritter (w/ cinnamon) and chips. I had a non-GF piece of Orange Roughy fish, never heard of it, but the owner said it is her favourite. It was the nicest fish that I can remember ever eating. My wife and daughter do not like fish at all, I pulled the batter off a piece and had them try it, even they really liked it. The staff were great and the owner was lovely, she took the time to talk with the 3 of us after we ate to find out what we liked. Thoroughly recommend this place for really nice fish & chips, especially if you have gluten allergies. There's only 1 photo sorry, we were half-way through eating before realising that we didn't take one. Fingers were dirty so just mashing the screen trying to get a picture...
